Just a short distance away, you’ll find the incredible Royal Abbey of Fontevraud (the largest in Europe), Candes-St-Martin and Montsoreau, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, Saumur (with its Cadre Noir, its châteaux, and its renowned wine cellars), Chinon and its Royal Fortress—a true gem where medieval streets and alleys intertwine—a castle whose history linked to Joan of Arc is a must-see, along with its surrounding vineyards and canoe or traditional boat trips on the Vienne River. The many outdoor activities, such as bike rides along the “Loire à Vélo” route, hiking (a trail passes right by the property), and even horseback riding, will give you the chance to fully enjoy, at your own pace, a truly memorable vacation or a dream weekend. A little further afield, the major attractions of the Loire Valley are very easy to reach: Rigny-Ussé (Sleeping Beauty’s Castle), Villandry and its magnificent Renaissance gardens, Azay-le-Rideau and its two castles, Langeais with its drawbridge still in working order, and of course Amboise, Chenonceau, Loches, Chambord, and Blois. Here, the winemakers will be eager to treat you to memorable tastings in their cellars, because the art of living in Touraine—the land of Rabelais—is an essential part of our region’s charm!

Outside: 100 m² garden with a large terrace on an unfenced property of approximately 1,200 m². Charcoal grill. Exclusive 2-person Spa. The holiday cottage is not recommended for young children due to the topography of the grounds. Non-smoking holiday cottage. Access from the parking lot to the holiday cottage is via steps through the woods, which may be difficult for some people. No specific accommodations or equipment for people with disabilities.
