This small gîte is the ideal base for exploring the architectural and gastronomic riches of the Touraine - Val de Loire region. What's more, the owner will be delighted to show you around his farm and some of the facets of his work as an arboriculturist, which he is proud to practice using sustainable farming methods. Just 1 km away, you can walk through the Etangs de Narbonne, a protected natural site, and discover a magnificently preserved flora. You can also walk to the Echappée Verte, a 13 km circuit through the hamlets, fields and orchards of a bucolic Joué-lès-Tours... The region's most famous tourist attractions are 20-30 minutes away (Tours center, châteaux of Villandry, Azay le Rideau, Langeais, Rigny Ussé) and another 10 minutes for the fortress of Chinon. The châteaux of Chenonceau, Amboise and Loches, and the Beauval ZooPark, are less than an hour away, as are the famous Loire vineyards (Chinon, Bourgueil, Vouvray, Montlouis).

This gîte offers an all-inclusive stay (except tourist tax) for 2 adults and 1 child, on the owner's tree farm: Les Vergers de Charlemagne (seasonal, sustainable fruit and vegetables). Ground floor: living/dining room/equipped kitchen (TV, sofa bed), shower room + WC. Upstairs: bedroom (12 m² floor area) fitted out under the attic as an unpartitioned mezzanine (1 bed 140x190, 1 bed 90x190 suitable for a child). Baby equipment: bed, chair, bath, cutlery, plates. Electric heating (included). Private grounds of 1000 m², fenced and gated. Non-smoking accommodation. Your private grounds open onto the surrounding countryside and the owner's greenhouses (on site: fruit/vegetable picking open to the public on Wednesdays, 2pm-6pm in July/August.
