Not far from Amboise, the epicenter of the Châteaux of the Loire, and close to the majestic Royal River, a UNESCO World Heritage site, this is an unforgettable, modernized Holiday cottage, with a vast private swimming pool, renovated in 2021. It's located in the heart of the Vouvray AOC vineyards, where visits and tastings await you, in the grounds of the Manoir de Montfort, a small 16th-century château listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques. It offers a privileged and unique setting with vast views over the Vineyard and a French-style park. Here you can enjoy the gardens (2 hectares), the small pond, the vast swimming pool (15 m long) and the owners' tennis court (sometimes shared). The surrounding area is full of Hiking and cycling trails, and you're close to most of the Loire castles...

The Holiday cottage is a detached house built in 1886, in the late 16th-century listed manor house where the owners live, in a large enclosed courtyard. Ground floor: living room (1-person sofa bed, flat-screen TV, WIFI), kitchen, 1st and 2nd bedrooms (each with 2 single beds, which can be twinned in one of the bedrooms), bathroom/wc. Fine antique furniture. Baby equipment. Holiday cottage not specifically adapted for the disabled. Heating included. Private terrace with barbecue and garden furniture. Fenced courtyard and unfenced communal gardens. Covered shed. POOL OPENING: May 15 to September 15 (weather permitting). Non-smoking Holiday cottage. End-of-stay cleaning charge: €60.
