When you're lucky enough to set foot in this charming vacation home, you immediately feel a sense of well-being. Firstly, because the quality of the decoration, materials and equipment leaves no one indifferent, and because its location at the end of a small cul-de-sac offers peace and quiet, yet so close to the center of the beautiful city of Amboise. Virginie and Jérôme's warm welcome also plays its part in the success of every stay in this privileged location. Each room has its own private bathroom with toilet: a real comfort! The superb swimming pool opposite the gîte has a dome, ideal before and after the summer season. Amboise is so close that it's easy to get to on foot and enjoy its surroundings, shops, Château Royal, Clos Lucé and Château Gaillard. You'll also be close to Chenonceau and other fabulous Loire castles (Chaumont-s/-Loire, Villandry, Blois...) as well as the Beauval Zooparc.
All-inclusive gîte (except tourist tax) at the end of the owners' farmhouse. Ground floor: living room with fully-equipped kitchen (armchairs, connected TV, 3-burner induction hob, Tassimo pod coffee maker), wc. Upstairs: 1 bedroom (1 x 160x200 bed, shower room with wc), 1 bedroom (3 x 90x200 beds, 2 of which can be converted into 180x200 beds, shower room with wc). WIFI. Heating included in rates (reversible air conditioning). Bed linen and towels provided. Private terrace in front of the gîte and private area overlooking the surrounding countryside on the property. Covered bicycle shed (lockable). Covered, heated (26°) 11x5 m swimming pool to share with owners. Close to all amenities, renowned gourmet restaurants nearby. No smoking. POOL OPENING: May to September.

isa un gîte vraiment superbe !
nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire, le gîte est parfaitement équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût il en plus idéalement placé pour la visite des châteaux Amboise , Cheverny Chenonceaux etc...

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub genossen!
Das Haus liegt zentral für die Besichtigung der Schlösser der Loire und der vielen hübschen Orte. Die Gegend hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Abends bietet Amboise eine gute Auswahl an Lokalen, besonders hat uns das Restaurant Les Arpents gefallen. Reservieren ist erforderlich. Schnell erreichbar Für die Eigenversorgung ist ein großer Leclerc nur 5 Minuten entfernt mit einem sehr üppigen Angebot.
Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig, bei höheren Temperaturen gibt es gibt es kleine Terrassen am überdachten Pool zum Ausruhen.
Das Haus ist gut, zweckmäßig und durchdacht eingerichtet, es war sehr sauber. Geschirr, Besteck und Haushaltswaren wie Spülmitteltabs, Kaffeekapseln, Toilettenpapier waren ausreichend vorhanden. Als besonders angenehm haben wir empfunden, dass zu den 2 geräumigen Schlafzimmern, die über Betten mit guten Matratzen verfügten, jeweils ein eigenes Badezimmer mit genügend Ablageflächen, Handtuchhaltern und geräumiger Dusche gehörte.
Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern klappte prima, wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Bereits vor der Ankunft hatten wir von den Vermieter eine ausführliche Webseite mit allen Infos zum Haus, zur Umgebung und zu empfehlenswerten Restaurants erhalten, sehr informativ!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec tous les renseignements complets sur l'hébergement et les adresses de la région (restaurants, idées de balades à vélo,...).la piscine sous le dôme est chauffée c'est une belle parenthèse après les visites de château. Le gîte est très bien équipé et chaque couple a son intimité (2 chambres avec chacune sa salle de bains et WC.

This gite is superb. The property was very comfortable and very secure. We had everything we needed for our week in the gite. Amboise centre ( chateau ) is a short walk away (20-25 minutes). A large supermarket is less than 5 minutes away by car. The pool was heated and the cover was useful when the weather wasn’t great but when the weather improved, the owner retracted the roof and the pool was even more welcoming.
We would definitely recommend or stay here again in a heartbeat. One tiny criticism…… although the owners live next door and are lovely ( merci, Virginie et Jerome) and will help in any way necessary, it would be useful to have a written guide to the property’s amenities. We weren’t even aware that the property had shutters for a couple of days. Also it would have been useful to know the rules for disposing of rubbish in different bins.
In any case, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this magnificent property.- Cleanliness
