Heating included. Private garden not closed (covered shelter). Non-smoking gite. Greenup socket for recharging electric and hybrid cars, the car can be parked less than 5 m away. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of this charming gîte, where calm and serenity reign: a haven of well-being in the Loire Châteaux region. At the end of a tufa stone farmhouse, the owner's residence, typical of Rabelais country, your gîte boasts, in addition to its attractive decoration, independent access and a private garden with a covered terrace ideal for meals sheltered from the summer sun. Not far from Chinon and its Royal Fortress, Fontevraud and its abbey, the only one of its kind in Europe, you'll also be close to the Loire à Vélo cycle route for some memorable rides. Candes St-Martin and Montsoreau, 2 of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and Saumur, Chenonceau and Amboise are also within easy reach.

Excellent gite
5/5Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de Madame MAZATAUD. Le gite est confortable, spacieux pour deux personnes et la fraicheur des murs épais en pierre s'est révélée agréable en période de forte chaleur. Sa localisation proche de sites et châteaux remarquables et les conseils de Madame MAZATAUD ont rendu notre séjour riche en découvertes.

vacances merveilleuses
5/5Nos vacances ont duré 2 semaines et étaient merveilleuses.
La maison de Marie-Thérèse est très bien pour 2 personne et des animaux (chez nous un vieux chien). Marie-Thérèse nous a donné toutes les informations touristique, culinaire etc. Marie-Thérèse parle l'anglais très bon, à côté du francais. Malheureusement, Huismes est très loin de nous.

Un beau séjour à la campagne
5/5From Madame Mazataud's welcome to the comfort and cosiness of this lovely old house built from the wonderful local cream tuffeau stone, everything was delightful.The gîte is appropriately furnished in the old style and beautifully upholstered by the owner herself. She has also made the patchwork wall hangings and bed covers and embroidered the sheets and pillowcases! The beds and bedding were pristine and very comfortable. In fact the gîte is well equipped with everything visitors could need. Thank you, Madame Mazataud, for the gifts of cheeses, wine and garden produce, which were much appreciated. Also for our visit to the local vigneron and the chance to chat in French again. We hope you'll let us come back one day!

5/5Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans le gîte de notre hôte qui a été aux petits soins et très arrangeante.
Le gîte est très bien équipé, et le calme est absolu, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Le village a toutes les commodités et Chinon est à seulement quelques kilomètres.
