Facing the Royal River, the Loire, your gîte is located on the left bank, on the Tours-Blois axis, just 5 minutes from downtown Amboise. You'll be ideally situated for exploring the most famous sites in the Loire Valley. Start with the royal town of Amboise, its magnificent château and Clos Lucé, the last home of Leonardo da Vinci. You'll also be on the road to Chaumont-sur-Loire, famous for its International Garden Festival. If you'd like to relax in a strategic location, enjoy the 1000 and one treasures of our region throughout the day, or simply fish on the banks of the Loire, this is the place for you. The beautiful interior, the private grounds on the banks of the Loire (road to cross) or on the outskirts of the gîte (a small pond is at your disposal), the owners' on-site equestrian center and the Loire à Vélo will delight you. Chenonceau, Beauval Zoo, Chambord and Villandry are all within easy reach.
