This charming gîte is located in the heart of the Pays de Richelieu, named after the famous cardinal. Richelieu created a unique city just a few kilometers from here that is a must-see. The village of Champigny sur Veude is home to a superb Gothic chapel and is ideally situated in the heart of Touraine, which will amaze you with its thousand and one treasures. Chinon is not far away: its magnificent historic center, its Royal fortress and its remarkable panorama, its famous vineyards. You'll also discover Saumur, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud in nearby Anjou, Futuroscope in neighboring Poitou, and above all Chenonceau, Amboise, Villandry, Azay le Rideau and Chambord, the jewels of the Loire Valley. All around you, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable stay, and after your cultural visits, gastronomic delights and Loire wine tastings, you'll be able to take advantage of the small landscaped courtyard for delicious moments of rest and serenity.

First floor via spiral staircase: 2 bedrooms separated by a curtain (1 landing bedroom with 1 bed 180 separable into 2 beds 90 and 1 bedroom with 1 bed 90). WIFI connection. Accueil extrêmement sympathique pour un gite tout à fait charmant.
Les petites attentions à l'arrivée sont réellement appréciables et ont été appréciées. :-)La déco est pensée tout en étant fonctionnelle ce qui donne un ensemble harmonieux tout à fait en phase avec la région.
La petite cour est aussi un atout majeur, le petit détail génial. :-)Une mention sur accessibilité, sachant que cela ne nous a absolument pas gêné, mais qu'en cas ce difficulté de mobilité c'est à prendre en compte.
Le charme des anciennes demeures mêmes rénovées avec gout peut s'accompagner de spécificités.
Aussi, si vous avez un doute, un petit contact préalable avec la propriétaire peut vous être utile.S'agissant de la région, nous sommes au centre de l'un des cœurs historiques de l'histoire de France, aussi d'évidence, on est assuré d'y passer un séjour aussi culturel qu'enchanteur. Mention spéciale pour l'Abbaye de Fontevraud et son musée, spectaculaire, une vraie surprise, prévoyez du temps.
Pour résumer, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et la seule questions porte sur la date de la prochaine visite. :-)

Un mot pour décrire mon séjour à Champigny sur Veude Indre et loire : Charmant. Car, gite, charmant; Hôtesse, charmante. Petit village plein de charme et tranquille.
