What's more, there's plenty of scope for forest walks on foot, horseback and mountain bike trails, or on the La Loire à Vélo route, which links up with the Bourgueillois bike trails. You can also fish in ponds or streams just a few kilometers away. You'll also love the proximity of famous Châteaux, including Azay le Rideau, Rigny Ussé, Langeais, Villandry, Saumur, Montsoreau and Fontevrault Abbey. Local produce and gastronomy (mushrooms, early fruit and vegetables and other local specialties) are also on offer. Bourgueil is not far from the Confluence of the Vienne and Loire rivers, offering breathtaking panoramic views!
