In a former outbuilding of the nearby Château de Razilly (private, not open to the public), your gîte in this typical tufa stone building offers the ideal comfort for large families or get-togethers with friends. The many facilities, the atmosphere, the terrace in the shade of the wisteria and the vast garden are all assets that will contribute to the success of your stay in this corner of Touraine, the Rabelaisie. Here, gastronomy, wine and a certain art de vivre set the pace for the lives of locals and holidaymakers alike. You'll be seduced by a privileged environment in the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park (visit the Véron Ecomuseum and the Maison du Parc). You'll be close to Chinon and its fabulous Royal Fortress, as well as the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and Saumur (its château and Cadre Noir). Also close by are the Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant in Rigny-Ussé, Azay-le-Rideau, the Cité du Cardinal de Richelieu and the Château du Rivau.

    Séjour très agréable dans une terre d'histoire

    Excellent accueil dans un grand gîte remarquablement restauré et très propre. Chambres spacieuses, très bonne literie. Cuisine bien aménagée, fonctionnelle, beaucoup de matériel. Salon, salle à manger vastes et confortables. Grand terrain pour les grands et les petits. Parking sécurisé dans la cour. L'endroit est très calme, repos garanti. Les commerces sont tout près. Quant aux visites de monuments, on a que l'embarras du choix dans un périmètre convenable. La gentillesse de la propriétaire apportant un argument de poids.

    Très bon Noël en famille

    Très bon séjour en famille à l'occasion de Noël.
    Gîte très convivial et chaleureux dans sa configuration (grande pièce à vivre et cuisine, poêle à granules) et sa décoration / rénovation. Bien équipé.
    Grandes chambres, de la place pour tous, pour être ensemble ou s'isoler.
    Bien situé pour aller visiter les alentours.
    Très bien accueillis, personne charmante, avec le plaisir d'avoir en + un gîte entièrement décoré pour Noël.

    Excellent séjour

    Le gîte est très spacieux, très confortable et très très bien équipé.
    Il est idéalement situé pour découvrir la région de Chinon, Saumur, etc.
    Les extérieurs du gîte sont également agréables, même si nous en avons peu profité, et l'environnement immédiat calme et attrayant.
    L'accueil des propriétaires a été simple mais agréable et efficace, et les contacts d'avant séjour très arrangeants pour répondre à nos demandes.

    Ideal for family groups

    Spacious and well equipped property ideal for families. The private grounds are very large and there is a covered terrace, unfortunately, at the time of our visit it was overgrown and un-useable, but no doubt this will be rectified so that al-fresco dining can be enjoyed. A car is essential as the property is some distance from any facilities, bur overall it is well located for the many châteaux, gardens and vineyards of this wonderful region which offers so much to visitors.
