Located close to the "voie verte" linking Chinon to Richelieu, the gite has bicycles at your disposal. The Chêne Vert gite is perfect for family vacations. Comprising 2 independent buildings, it has been designed by its owners as a place where they would like to live, with attention to detail and a love of beautiful materials. From the fortress of Chinon to the village of Candes-Saint-Martin, from the royal abbey of Fontevraud to the church of Notre-Dame de Rivière, there's no shortage of ideas for excursions. Not to mention Chinon wine tastings, and especially truffle tastings in season, as the gite is in the midst of France's largest organic truffle production (tours and tastings available on reservation).
