Your gîte, with its vast living room and monumental fireplace, the bedrooms and their remarkable timber framing, and the swimming pool in fine weather, will delight families looking for peace and quiet, lovers of old stones steeped in history, and all those looking for a strategic location from which to explore the riches of neighboring Touraine, Anjou and Poitou. Between Futuroscope and Beauval Zoo, close to Saumur (its Cadre Noir and château), the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, Château du Rivau and the Richelieu-Chinon greenway for cycling, you'll also have the chance to navigate the Vienne river in a canoe or traditional boat and discover Amboise, Chenonceau and Azay-le-Rideau.
