Famous for the unique architecture of its city, designed by the Cardinal to house his court, Richelieu is just 5 km from the property. For history buffs, this is an absolute must. Your gîte is a veritable cocoon, and you'll be seduced by both its interior ambience and its superb surroundings. In autumn and winter, the cosy fireplace is the perfect place to let yourself be lulled by the crackling flames. Your upstairs bedroom offers a second relaxation area and a superb shower room. The sun's rays will be much appreciated from their first appearance in your private space opening onto the courtyard of this magnificently restored property, typical of the Richelais region.
