Its location in a peaceful rural Touraine hamlet, 30 minutes from Tours, makes it an ideal place for a successful Loire Valley vacation. The surrounding area is full of activities to make your stay a memorable one: cycling and walking trails start from the gîte, and the Chisseaux water sports center (5 km away) is the starting point for trips along the Cher River as far as the arches of the Château de Chenonceau, for breathtaking views and unforgettable moments (cruises, family picnic boats, canoeing). Other highlights of your vacation include visits to Loire castles such as Amboise, Chaumont, Villandry, Langeais, Chambord, Cheverny and Blois (10 to 45 min), the famous Beauval Zoo (30 min), the vineyards of Montlouis and Vouvray (30 min) and the remarkable villages of Montrésor and Chédigny.
