Ideally located for exploring the chateaux of the Loire Valley, you'll be staying in a typical Touraine farmhouse, in a superb, unspoilt green setting on the outskirts of Amboise (shopping center 1.6 km away). The ambience combines old-world charm with a contemporary touch, providing you with all the well-being you'd expect from a long-awaited weekend or vacation. You can also enjoy the mildness of Touraine in the vast garden, ideal for idleness or family leisure time. As Touraine is synonymous with majestic Renaissance châteaux in the Loire Valley, you can discover internationally renowned sites such as Chenonceau, Chambord, Blois, Azay-le-Rideau or Valençay, Chaumont-sur-Loire or the Beauval Zooparc and its famous pandas, all within easy reach. Children will be delighted to meet the cows on the nearby farm of the owners, who will be delighted to share their passion with you.

    Excellent séjour dans ce gîte très agréable

    Merci Régine pour votre accueil sympathique et votre disponibilité. Ce gîte spacieux du XVIe siècle est magnifique, en plus d'être très propre et très bien équipé (excellente literie et moustiquaires aux fenêtres). Jardin arboré, environnement calme avec quelques vaches paisibles dans le pré voisin. Les commerces sont à 4 minutes en voiture. C'est parfait !

    Très beau séjour

    Régine nous a très bien accueilli, le gite est confortable et bien équipé. Vous êtes bien isolés et vos voisines (des vaches adorables) viendront souvent vous rendre une petite visite.

    Week-end au grand air

    Gite au calme pas loin de la ville de Amboise pour visiter la région

    Excellent Stay

    I would highly recommend this lovely, traditional gite as a good base for anyone planning a holiday in the Loire Valley. It is spacious, very well-equipped and sits in a peaceful setting, only a couple of miles from the charming town of Amboise. We received a very warm welcome from our hos who provided a great deal of useful information of interest to visitors to the area.
