The history of France and Touraine are intimately linked, and you'll be lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the most famous sites in this highly sought-after Valley of the Kings: Chinon and its jewel-like royal fortress, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud (also a jewel), Saumur, Candes-St-Martin and Monsoreau (ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages in France), as well as Chenonceau, Amboise and Chambord. With St Nicolas de Bourgueil, Bourgueil or Chinon, lovers of fine wines will be seduced!
