Discovering the Loire Valley, its natural and gastronomic riches, its chateaux, vineyards, monuments and gardens, a stay in Touraine is a matter of course, and the authenticity of the surrounding countryside only accentuates the feeling of well-being and serenity you get from living and staying here. And to make it easier for you to get around and visit, the surrounding area has excellent motorway access. As you stroll along, you may well come across a few pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela, which is less than a kilometer away!
The Gîte de La Houchinière de Villeprée, which dates back to the 18th century, has been superbly restored in the heart of the Touraine region, where the scent of the countryside, nature and peace and quiet reigns supreme. The owners live on site. Ground floor: sitting room opening onto living room/kitchen, laundry room, shower room, wc. Upstairs: 1st bedroom (2 beds 90 twin 180), 2nd bedroom (2 beds 90 + 1 bed 140), shower room, wc. Heating included (heat pump/r.d.c. + electric/upstairs). WIFI Internet access. Enclosed garden 250 m² (covered shed under key). Private parking opposite gîte. Bed linen, heating and electricity included. No smoking.

Kiwis Lovely Village Gite
The Gite is lovely, the hosts friendly, but not intrusive. The building combines the charm of a 200 year old farm house, with an interior that has been finished with modern materials and appointments to a high standard. They have achieved both!
The location is very quiet and peaceful. The birdsong in the morning and evening adds to the charm. We even had a cock pheasant call by.
It is a short drive to Tours, and centrally located to visit all the major Chateaux and the wine caves.
I would highly recommend this Gite to anyone, whether they speak French or not.
If I return to this region in the future, I would endeavor to book this place.- Cleanliness

Triflo Excellent séjour
Accueil tres chaleureux de nos hôtes. Logement bien situé, proche des lieux touristiques et des commodités tout étant au calme. Intérieur tres cosy, extérieur fleuri et agréable.
