All the riches of the Loire Valley are within easy reach, provided you're willing to leave your little cocoon! Among them: Tours, a city of Art and History, the Châteaux of the Loire (Amboise, Chenonceau, Azay le Rideau, Villandry, Chambord...), Touraine gastronomy (rillons, goat's cheeses, Poires Tapées, Chinon, Bourgueil and St Nicolas vineyards). From the gîte, a country path takes you on foot to St-Avertin, a pleasant, quiet town where life is good, and where you can stroll along the banks of the Cher (lake, guinguette). On foot or by bike, this path also takes you to the Bois des Hâtes, a popular walking area for young and old alike, with its natural setting and semi-free-roaming animals. You'll be close to La Loire à Vélo.

This charming, recently-built cottage is independent and close to the owners' home. Ground floor: living room with fully-equipped kitchen (sofa, TV, DVD player, etc.), 1st bedroom (pull-out bed with 2 single beds), 2nd bedroom (bed 160X200), shower room, wc. WIFI internet connection. Board games. Electric heating included. Private, undefined 70 m² garden with terrace (all located on the owners' fully fenced grounds).
