In the heart of Touraine and the Châteaux de la Loire, not far from the famous vineyards of Chinon and Bourgueil, the Gîte de Grammont offers top-of-the-range facilities for a calm and relaxing vacation, in the image of the surrounding countryside. The interior design, the choice of furniture and bedding, the decoration, the colors and materials used, everything here exudes authenticity and good taste. The flames in the tufa stone fireplace in the living room will sublimate the warm atmosphere you feel as soon as you cross the threshold of the gîte. The gîte is set in a clearing on the edge of the Chinon forest, close to a former 12th-century priory which also houses another rental property. The layout is such that this magnificent gite has its own private, independent garden, partly enclosed by walls. Unoverlooked, you'll love lounging in perfect privacy on sunny days.
4 km from Chinon, in 18th-century longère in the heart of a 12th and 17th-century priory (owners' residence), in the Forest de Chinon. Ground floor: kitchen, living room, bathroom, wc. 1st floor: 1st bedroom (bed 160), 2nd bedroom (bed 160), 3rd bedroom (2 single beds), shower/wc. Chair and baby bed. WIFI connection. Electric heating (extra charge). Private, independent, shady 500 m² enclosed garden and south-facing terrace (quality garden furniture, chiliennes). Washing machine and 130 m² gaming room (p-pong, table soccer) shared with 2nd Holiday cottage in another outbuilding. Kids' swing set. The layout of the site ensures privacy for all. Included: bed linen, towels, tea towels, free wood.

Lillydepessiers Gîte très agréable
Le gîte est très agréable car tres bien équipé,tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur.Les propriétaires se sont montrés très accueillants et ils nous ont expliqué l'histoire de leur demeure qui est une ancienne abbaye.De nombreuses visites à réaliser dans la région.

Accueil chaleureux dans un lieu. magnifique, calme...magique, l'histoire de Touraine y est palpable. Le gîte est magnifique. Les soirées au coin du feu de cheminée, les visites de chateaux extraodrinaires et plusieurs randonnées en forêt à proximité resteront des souvenirs marquants- nous gardons l'adresse pour un prochain séjour. 3,7 jours en avril Gîte très agréable
Equipement très complet. Joli choix de vaisselle, linge de maison apprécié. Déco agréable et discrète. Beaux espaces. Hôtesse accueillante. Nous avons regretté l'absence de notice d'emploi pour le micro-ondes, rien de grave. Nous avons apprécié de disposer d'un bois de chauffage déjà coupé et sec, mais regretté l'absence de petit bois et de bûches plus conséquentes pour avoir un feu plus nourri: rien de grave non plus. Le jardin fleuri, le bel environnement ont été très appréciés, de mêmes que les attentions, bouquet de fleurs, bouteille de vin local à goûter, à notre arrivée. Nombreuses possibilités de chemins aux alentours pour les amateurs de marche.
Les conditions sont réunies pour un très joli et agréable séjour. Merci chaleureux à nos hôtes.
