The beautiful view over the Vallée du Lys and the village of Saché from this huge Touraine farmhouse will give you a unique feeling of serenity. This small village has been home to many illustrious figures, including Honoré de Balzac and Alexandre Calder, the American sculptor and painter who, with his daughter Alexandra Davidson, renovated and lived in the Bordebure house. This Holiday cottage is ideally located, on the banks of the Indre, close to the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, and 5 minutes from the freeway that takes you to the major tourist sites of the Loire Valley. Get-togethers with friends and family will leave unforgettable traces in your memories, those of a Touraine where living is an art. 2 horse stalls are available on request.

Set in over 6 hectares, this typical 19th-century Touraine farmhouse offers a magnificent view over the village of Saché. It also boasts a heated swimming pool. Ground floor: kitchen, dining room, living room (sofa), 1st bedroom (bed 160), wc, bathroom/wc, linen room. Upstairs: 2nd bedroom (bed 160), 3rd bedroom (3 beds 90), 4th bedroom (bed 140), 5th bedroom (bed 90), 6th bedroom (bed 140), wc, 2 bathrooms, one with wc. Baby bed. Unenclosed landscaped garden (covered shelter). Holiday cottage all-inclusive (except tourist tax), wood supplied for 2 fires (extra charge beyond that). PISCINE OPENING : 15/05 to 15/09.

    Très grand gîte plein de charme

    Nous avons retrouvé ce gîte déjà loué il y a deux ans pour explorer d'autres visites de châteaux situés dans cette région. Très bel emplacement pour ce très grand gîte occupant une longère retapée il y a quelques années en conservant le charme de ce type de demeure. Comme il y a deux ans, très bon accueil de Claudine, la personne qui s'occupe du gîte. Excellent séjour pour notre groupe d'amis avec le soleil en prime.
    Nous conseillerons cependant au propriétaire d'apporter quelques renouvellement concernant le matériel de cuisine ainsi que certains couchages. Il serait dommage de ne pas mieux entretenir ce lieu.

    Nouvel an

    revoir les chaises,une cafetière grand format adaptée à 12 personnes,Mentionner que la salle de jeu n est pas chauffée donc pas accessible en cette saison ,et que la cheminée du salon n a pas pu etre utilisée faute de bois dommage pour un réveillon....La maison est agréable car bien chauffée et bien située en pleine nature...Avons été bien accueillis et bien informés sur le gite et les commerces de proximité Le gite est bien adapté à un groupe

    Maison parfaite pour ce que nous souhaitions. On pense à en programmer un autre aux beaux jours afin de profiter de la piscine !
