Magnificent Holiday cottage in an exceptional setting between Tours, the capital of Touraine, and Villandry, famous for its Renaissance gardens. Come and enjoy an all-inclusive stay in the heart of the Loire Valley, where the most beautiful châteaux literally surround you. The Holiday cottage is within easy reach of the Loire à Vélo and Cher à Vélo cycle routes, and we have 21-speed mountain bikes and electric bikes available for hire (advance booking required).

Each of the rooms in your Holiday cottage is a treasure trove of curiosities, elegance, comfort and Wellbeing, and you'll enjoy a particularly high-end ambience.Magnificent creations by the owner, an internationally renowned sculptor, adorn the cottage.The master bedroom, the fruit of his creation, plunges you into the world of Jules Verne. It's not by chance... A host of facilities, a relaxing outdoor area and an ideal location all combine to make your stay a real success. Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Rigny-Ussé, Langeais, Chinon as well as Amboise, Chenonceau and Chambord are not to be missed, while the lesser-known but equally fascinating Rivau, Gizeux and Islette are also full of charm. The Beauval Zoo and Futuroscope, Saumur and the Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud are also worth a visit, as are our winegrowers and cycling tours on the nearby Loire à Vélo. 10 mn from Place Plumereau.
All-inclusive, air-conditioned Holiday cottage (excluding tourist tax). Ground floor: entrance hall leading to a large, fully-equipped kitchen (oven, multi-function food processor, filter and Nespresso coffee makers) and living room.
Upstairs: the Nautilus room, with 1 bed 160x200, plunges you into the world of Jules Verne. Lying in bed, you are enveloped by a majestic view of the garden, like an immersive dive into nature, accompanied by its bathroom with WC, a 2nd room has 2 beds 90x200 and a toilet (private WC + sink). Tumble dryer. WIFI ACCESS. Outside, you'll enjoy a terrace with garden furniture, plancha and deckchairs. You'll also find a pétanque court, a swing and 2ha of land for strolling through the Forest and its exceptional sculptures. Bikers are welcome to use the parking facilities. The Loire by bike is 1.5 km from the Holiday cottage.

Nous avons passé une belle semaine en famille dans un cadre éblouissant tant par la beauté des lieux que par la tranquillité du gîte au sein du parc arboré.
Un séjour inoubliable, nous reviendrons très vite dans ce lieu magique.

Superbe séjour dans une maison magnifique. La décoration est insolite mêlant histoire et fantasy.
La chambre parentale nous transporte dans le monde magique de Jules Verne et du capitaine Nemo.
La pièce principale est une vraie salle d'exposition du propriétaire Pierre Matter, sculpteur international d’une grande créativité. Notre famille a adoré toutes ses œuvres incroyables. Merci pour la visite de l'atelier riche en anecdotes.
Merci à Angélique Arnaud, la propriétaire, pour sa grande gentillesse et les petites attentions à l'arrivée.

Very friendly multilingual hosts.
Location is perfect for exploring all the attractions of the region.
The Gîte and its gardens are an attraction in themselves so take time to explore them.
On the practical side the Gîte is modern inside an historical exterior. Perfectly equipped with everything you might need and everything is of the highest quality.
The Gîte is full of original art and sculptures by Pierre Matter. The interior design and decoration is a work of art too, with amazing attention to detail.

Le paradis sur terre existe !!! Il a pris un raccourci entre ciel et Cher.
Le site est magnifique, chaque détail a été traité minutieusement et les œuvres de Pierre magnifient l'endroit !
Nous avons eu droit à une visite de l'atelier et à un accueil tout simplement magnifique.

This stylish apartment is located near Tours and is convenient for exploring the Loire Valley chateaux. It is beautifully and tastefully furnished: a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils, a washer and dryer, beds with comfortable mattresses, bed linen, and a full set of towels. It is set in a large, well-kept garden and features a terrace for relaxing. Furthermore, both the apartment and the garden are enhanced by stunning works by the sculptor and owner, Pierre Matter. It feels like you're living in a unique, magical world.
The owners are very welcoming and always ready to help and suggest the best nearby locations.We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the owners for their hospitality. A special thank you to Angelique for her pleasant conversations and the tour she gave us of their garden and surrounding area. We recommend these apartments and if we travel to this region of France again, we will definitely stay here.

Que dire sur ce gîte? Que des qualités : accueil simple et amicale, propreté, qualité des équipements(literie, ameublement, linge, vaisselle...), décoration exceptionnelle, la nature environnante, le silence, etc.... Wow, que dire après un tel commentaire ? Peut-être le gîte de l'année ? On va essayer de ne pas prendre la grosse tête alors :-) Philippe et Véronique, un grand merci pour tous ces compliments qui nous vont droit au coeur.
