Ideally located for easy access throughout the region: Versailles 80 km away (1 hour), Paris 100 km (1h20) away, The chateaux of the Loire Valley can be reached in 1h30, Not forgetting the picturesque villages of Perche and the authentic landscapes of Beauce. In terms of leisure activities, there's plenty to do here: cycling along the River Eure, Hiking in the Countryside, discovering the local markets or swimming and water sports in the surrounding area. Chartres also offers a rich cultural and festive program, including its famous "Chartres en lumières" show, which illuminates the city every evening from April to October.
