You're in the Loir Valley, in Cloyes-sur-le-Loir! Between Chartres and Blois, on the route des Châteaux de la Loire, 1h30 south of Paris, near Châteaudun and Vendôme. By car or motorcycle, stop off on the Nationale 10 or take the train. TER trains from Paris or Tours stop at Châteaudun or Cloyes-sur-le-Loir. Stay in a fully renovated former barn, transformed into a peaceful holiday home with its own courtyard, close to the shopping street, the Loir and Parc Émile Zola. An atypical place in the heart of the village, where you'll discover contemporary works, including those of Emmanuel Bourgeois, the master of the house. Numerous hiking trails and gentle strolls around the house, including the Saint-Jacques de Compostelle path - GR 655 - Brussels/Tours on foot and Véloroute N°41. Water sports activities 1km away: Centre Nautique des Trois Rivières with sports and leisure pools, paddling pool, slide, play areas, Canoe Kayak Club and Sailing Club. Les Riviérades" fitness and wellness area, adjacent to the Centre Nautique. Fishing on site, the bridge over the Loir is 50m away. Visit the Château de Montigny-le-Gannelon, a 3km walk from the gîte - Cloyes les Trois Rivières: its 9 villages are irrigated by the Loir, Aigre and Yerre rivers. Here you'll find lakes, fishing spots and the Ile de la Vallée de l'Aigre in Romilly-sur-Aigre, a biodiversity discovery area. Chateaudun: the old town, the Château, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the Grottes du Foulon - the Château des Énigmes at Fréteval - the electric boats at Bonneval - the Commanderie d'Arville - the Chateau de Talcy - all destinations less than 30 minutes away by car. And a little further afield, 1h00 away, Chartres en Lumière from April to January, and of course the Châteaux de la Loire, the Festival International des Jardins de Chaumont-sur-Loire and Beauval Zoo.... !

The 80 m² house features a fully-equipped kitchen on the first floor, opening onto a vast 35 m² living room with sofa and dining area. A spiral staircase takes you to the first floor, where you'll find two bedrooms lit by skylights (1 x 160cm/2 x 90cm twin beds), a shower room/wc and an office area. The living room is extended by a walled garden, where you can enjoy the terrace, particularly quiet and sunny, with garden furniture, chaise longue and table for meals. Separate WC on ground floor. Electric heating.
For young children (under 3), cot, bath and high chair available on request.
For longer stays, cleaning will be carried out once every 15 days, at a cost of €60 each time.
For your comfort: WIFI access, beds made on arrival, towels and household linen provided. Basic groceries and cleaning products available. Electric griddle for terrace.
