By car or motorcycle, stop off on the Nationale 10 or take the train. The TER train from Paris or Tours stops at Châteaudun or Cloyes-sur-le-Loir. Stay in an old barn that has been completely refurbished and transformed into a peaceful holiday home, with its inner courtyard, close to the Shop street, the Loir and Parc Émile Zola. An atypical place in the heart of the village, where you'll discover contemporary works of art, including those of Emmanuel Bourgeois, the master of the house. Numerous hiking trails and gentle strolls around the house, including the Route de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle - GR 655 - Brussels/Tours à pied and Véloroute N°41. Water sports activities 1km away: Centre Nautique des Trois Rivières with sports and leisure pools, paddling pool, slide, play areas, Canoe Kayak Club and Sailing Club. Les Riviérades" fitness and wellbeing area, adjacent to the Nautical Center. Fishing on site, with the bridge over the Loir just 50 m away. Visit the Château de Montigny-le-Gannelon, 3 km from the Holiday cottage on foot - Cloyes les Trois Rivières: its 9 villages are irrigated by the Loir, Aigre and Yerre rivers. Here you'll find lakes, fishing spots and the Ile de la Vallée de l'Aigre (Aigre Valley Island) at Romilly-sur-Aigre. Chateaudun: the old city, the Château, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the Grottes du Foulon - the electric boats at Bonneval - the Commanderie d'Arville - the Château de Talcy - all within a 30-minute drive. And a little further afield, a 1h00 drive away, Chartres en Lumière from April to January, the immersive "Mille ans d'éclat" show on the history of Chartres, and of course the Châteaux de la Loire, the Festival International des Jardins de Chaumont-sur-Loire from April to November, the Zoo de Beauval.... !

The 80 m² house features a fully-equipped kitchen on the first floor, opening onto a vast 35 m² living room with sofa and dining area. A spiral staircase takes you to the first floor, where you'll find two bedrooms lit by skylights (1 x 160cm/2 x 90cm twin beds), a shower room/wc and an office area. The living room is extended by a walled garden, where you can enjoy the terrace, particularly quiet and sunny, with garden furniture, deckchairs and a dining table. Separate WC on ground floor. Electric heating. For young children (under 3), Umbrella bed, bathtub and high chair available on request. For longer stays, cleaning will be carried out once every 15 days, at a cost of €60 per visit. For your convenience: WIFI access, beds made on arrival, bathroom linen supplied. Basic groceries and cleaning products available. Electric griddle for terrace. 2 bicycles available. Non-smoking house. Pets not allowed.
