40 km south of Chartres, in the Loir Valley, you’ll stay in a peaceful village near the woods and the river. There are plenty of walking and biking trails to recharge in the woods, climb the prehistoric megaliths, or enjoy a picnic by the water! A bike loop passes right by the holiday cottage, where bikes are waiting for you! In the village, the educational farm “Les petites merveilles 28” is sure to delight everyone. Just 10 minutes away, you’ll find all the shops in the charming little town of Bonneval, which offers electric boats, canoeing, a water sports center, and a market. The same goes for Châteaudun, one of the most beautiful “Détours de France” destinations, featuring a castle, unique caves, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, a water sports center, and a Cinema. You’re 40 minutes from Chartres to the north and the Loire Valley castles to the south.

You’ll be charmed by the spacious 58 m² living area, featuring fully exposed beams! And what a joy it is to cook while chatting with a view of the entryway and living area—and even the crackling fire in the monumental fireplace!
Everything is designed with your comfort in mind, featuring four bedrooms on the ground floor, all equipped with high-quality bedding: one with a 160-bed, two with 140-beds, and one with two 90-beds. A bathroom and a shower room/toilet that meet accessibility standards serve these bedrooms, along with a separate toilet. Travel light: the beds are made on arrival!
A washer and dryer are located in a laundry room along with cleaning supplies and household products.
Upstairs, there are 2 very bright bedrooms, each with 2 90x200 beds, and 1 shower room with a toilet.
Babies are welcome—all necessary equipment is available upon request.
Two highlights of this spacious holiday cottage:
- The Wellbeing area (available for an additional fee): Sauna, Spa/Jacuzzi, and shower for moments of total relaxation!
- The gaming room with ping-pong, foosball, badminton, a volleyball net, and bicycles.

Outside, the 2,600 m² enclosed grounds feature private parking, a garden, an orchard, and two terraces, one of which is covered. Listen to the birds singing or relax on the patio furniture while others prepare the barbecue!
