Sander Fine cottage
The house is a kind of museum almost, choc-full of local historic artifacts, and most of the furniture is antique. The owner knows a lot about the area, and gave useful tips about for example nearby lakes to swim in. There were some issues with the new spa, and he was present in the house a lot to try and get it fixed. The town is very nice, even though there are also quite a lot of abandoned shops and restaurants.

Joëlle Séjour très agréable et très calme au centre de St Amand
Maison très cosy et très bien équipée.
Nous avons passé 2 jours dans la détente et le confort.
L'accueil est chaleureux et attentionné (petits gâteaux et confitures dans le frigo), Luc est un hôte à l'écoute et une mine d'information sur l'histoire locale.

Emmeline Une semaine dans un petit musée de Saint-Amand-Montrond
Gîte très confortable, bien achalandé (jusqu'à la râpe à fromage), à 2 mn à pied des commerces et permettant de rayonner dans le Berry très facilement. Le jardin est petit (on est en ville) mais, ombragé, garantit beaucoup de fraîcheur même par 30 degrés. L'ameublement et la décoration, essentiellement anciens, sont ravissants, visiblement amassés avec beaucoup d'amour par Luc, passionné par l'histoire de son Berry (et de son Bourbonnais) et dont l'accueil chaleureux et les bons conseils (ainsi que la tolérance envers nos trois petits garçons) nous ont été précieux. Merci !
