Au puits de l'abbaye

A small detached house set in the garden shared with the owners, the gîte comprises 2 rooms on the first floor, bathed in natural light: the fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, pod coffee machine, fridge, etc.) is shared with the dining area. The small adjoining living room houses a TV corner (connected by WiFi) and the staircase leading to the family bedroom on the 1st floor (1 double bed 160 x 200, 2 single beds 90 x 190). This air-conditioned room overlooks the garden and opens onto the shower room and toilet.


Wifi is available throughout the accommodation. A separate entrance leads from the garage to the garden. Possibility of parking a standard-sized vehicle with the owners' agreement. The gîte has access to the garden, with an area reserved for it, complete with garden furniture (table and chairs). The rest of the garden is shared with the owners. Beds are made up on arrival, and towels are provided.

The gîte is part of the former SAINT-LAURENT ABBEY.
Founded in the early Middle Ages, Saint-Laurent Abbey was devastated in 1562 during the Wars of Religion. The surviving buildings (on the other side of rue Voltaire) belong to the 17th century reconstruction; the portal of the abbey dwelling (place Saint-Bonnet), dated 1674, is attributed to Antoine Basseville, a disciple of the Berruyer architect Jean Lejuge.
