Villa Tranquillité

La Villa Tranquillité is a charming, stylishly-appointed house in a haven of peace built against the rock face and surrounded by trees beside the Nantes-Brest Canal. The guest rooms overlook the canal, lock and towpath or the garden (Les Randonneurs guest room). The house is ideally-situated for walks and cycle rides along the towpath, watching barges sail past, snoozing in the sunny garden or visiting some of the many local places of interest and landmark attractions further afield, including the Gulf of Morbihan, the Pink Granite Coast and Saint Malo. The atmosphere is relaxing and convivial. Organic evening meals are served with fish and vegetarian specialities. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the canal. There are 5 guest rooms. 'Duc de Rohan' : king-size bed, single bed, en-suite bathroom with WC. 'La Comtesse' : king-size bed, en-suite shower room with WC. 'Belle Epoque' : king-size bed, bath in the bedroom, WC in a cabin. 'La Roche Brune' : king-size bed, en-suite shower room with WC (open with curtain). 'Les Randonneurs' (small, graded 2 épis) : 2 single beds, en-suite shower room with WC. Kitchen and TV lounge for guest use, plus use of owner's lounge-diner. Local tourist tax charged extra at the going rate. Parking area. 2 patios outside.
