Welcome to the Holiday cottage "Sous les Bois", a contemporary architect-designed house built in 2025, designed to offer a stay combining comfort, nature and respect for the environment.
This eco-friendly, almost passive house will win you over with its sustainable, aesthetic construction choices: timber frame, straw insulation, natural earth rendering and elegant burnt-wood cladding. Every detail has been designed to create a warm, healthy and soothing atmosphere, in perfect harmony with its surroundings.
Ideally located close to the village, in a cul-de-sac, the Holiday cottage benefits from a green and particularly quiet setting. It's a haven of peace and quiet, with shops and services within easy walking distance.
The Holiday cottage is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, discover the region and enjoy an authentic experience in modern, comfortable, environmentally-friendly accommodation.
Accommodation on two levels: Ground floor: - Open-plan kitchen/living room with wood/pellet stove - Two bedrooms with 160x200 beds - Shower room with shower - Separate WC with grab bar - Laundry area with washbasin. Separate studio on first floor (accessed via outside staircase): - Kitchen/living room with sleeping area (160x200 bed) - Shower room with shower and WC. Outside: Terrace and garden under construction (garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs planned for summer 2026).

Logement magnifique et très agréable à vivre. Très bon accueil. Le cadre est magnifique et reposant, au coeur d'un environnement préservé. En immersion avec la nature autour du gîte (arbres, oiseaux...). Parfait pour se ressourcer !
La région est magnifique, et l'hôte suggère beaucoup d'idées très agréables (visites, randonnées, restaurants...).

Peaceful Expérience formidable
Un coup de coeur absolu à Le Faouët !
On a passé un séjour exceptionnel au gîte "Sous les Bois" et on repart la tête pleine de bons souvenirs. La maison est une vraie surprise : une architecture contemporaine magnifique, construite en ossature bois avec des enduits en terre et un bardage bois brûlé qui lui donnent un caractère unique. On sent immédiatement que chaque détail a été pensé, autant sur le plan esthétique que pour le bien-être des occupants.
L'intérieur est chaleureux, lumineux et très bien équipé. Le poêle bois/pellets crée une atmosphère cosy parfaite pour se détendre en soirée. Les chambres sont confortables, les espaces bien agencés, et la maison est impeccablement propre.
Le cadre est calme et verdoyant, dans une impasse à l'entrée du bourg, à deux pas des commerces. Un équilibre parfait entre tranquillité et praticité.
Ce qui nous a vraiment touchés, c'est l'engagement écologique sincère du lieu : quasi passif, matériaux naturels et durables, labels en cours. On ne dort pas juste dans un gîte, on vit une expérience cohérente et authentique.
À recommander sans la moindre hésitation pour un week-end en famille, une escapade en Bretagne ou même un séminaire. On reviendra !- Cleanliness
