A potters' village for over 1,000 years, St Jean La Poterie has kept alive the traditions of its potters and earthenware factories in an unspoilt natural setting between small valleys and plains. Located less than an hour's drive from Rennes, Nantes or Vannes, this village with its rugged terrain offers plenty of potential for walking! Nearby is Redon, Rennes' maritime outport, which has retained its maritime atmosphere, with ship masts in the town center, shipowners' houses and the Musée de la Batellerie. On the Canal de Nantes à Brest, the Île aux Pies is a small piece of land among many islets, a great natural site and the ideal place for a picnic with family or friends, for walks, bike rides or sporting activities! Lovers of art and history will discover the character towns of Rochefort en Terre ("Favourite Village of the French") and La Gacilly, just 20 minutes away.

The 2 Bed and breakfast rooms are located on the first floor: - La Suite Bleue (Blue Suite) features a king-size electrically-articulated double bed (180x200), TV, fridge, connecting shower room and separate toilet; - La Suite Verte (Green Suite) comprises a large bedroom with a double bed (160x200), TV, fridge, microwave, open-plan shower room and separate toilet, and a small bedroom with a single bed (120x190).
Breakfast is served in the living room or on the terrace, depending on the season, facing the large south-facing 3,000 m2 garden with swimming pool and spa! The swimming pool (4 m.x12m - depth 1.10 to 1.75m) is open from April to September, at a constant temperature of 28°C, between 4:30 and 10:00 pm. The Spa is open at the same times, at 37°C. Your electric bikes or motorcycles can be parked in the closed garage in the basement, with electric recharging available for bikes.
