On the border between river and ocean, Arzal boasts a wealth of natural and cultural heritage. The Arzal dam is the longest estuary dam in Europe (500 m long), and is the gateway to the Vilaine River and the Atlantic Ocean. Ideally situated in a quiet hamlet, this vacation home promises peace and quiet, yet only 600 m from the river and water sports activities, and 10 minutes from the long beaches of Pénestin.

Arzal, the village of Lantiern and its Hiking trails are places not to be missed in this commune. The dam is also the site of festivities that culminate every August with Festiv'Arz, a highlight of the year when Breton culture takes center stage. There's plenty to see and do: Vannes is 30 minutes away, nestling at the bottom of the Gulf of Morbihan; La Roche Bernard, Petite Cité de Caractère, is 10 minutes away; Guérande and its salt marshes are 30 minutes away, not forgetting the legendary and mythical Forest de Brocéliande, 1 hour's drive away.
