All amenities are less than a 5-minute drive away or accessible by bike: a supermarket, the town center with a convenience store, restaurants and a crêperie, a bakery, a fish market, a butcher shop, a tobacco and newsstand, a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, and a physical therapy clinic, etc. The large St. Gildas market is held every Sunday morning (daily during summer vacation except Mondays).

Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys is renowned for its thousand-year-old abbey, its authentic atmosphere, and its lively market that showcases local flavors. Nearby, set out to explore the peninsula’s iconic sites: the Château de Suscinio, former residence of the Dukes of Brittany; the Cairn du Petit Mont; the ports of Port-Navalo and Le Crouesty; and the many picturesque villages lining the Gulf of Morbihan.
