For a vacation on the water, come and stay at the Gîte du Canal. Here, on the banks of the Canal de Nantes à Brest, you can relax with family or friends in an idyllic setting. Nature lovers will be delighted! Saint-Congard is located between Vannes and Rennes. For lovers of old stones, there are 3 must-see sites less than 15 km away: Rochefort en Terre, with its Christmas lights, La Gacilly, with its arts and crafts and its famous photography festival, and Malestroit, a small town full of character. For those who also want to enjoy the pleasures of the sea, the Golfe du Morbihan and its beaches are 40 km away.
The Gîte du Canal has been fitted out and equipped to offer you a quality rental. The rooms are spacious and well-lit. Ideal for 1 family or 2 couples. From the terrace at the front of the house, you can enjoy a view of the canal and the sound of the water.
On the first floor, you'll find a lovely living room with kitchen/lounge, a bedroom (1 x 160cm bed) with private shower room, a separate toilet with washbasin, and a laundry room.

Private garden and parking. Bicycle/motorcycle shed. In a small hamlet consisting of 4 houses including 1 other holiday rental.

Joelle Tout est parfait !
Sans doute le plus beau gite que nous connaissons. Pour qui cherche la tranquillité, le bruit de l'eau et le chant des oiseaux, et des jolies visites aux alentours, un gite très bien conçu où rien ne manque , confortable et très propre et des propriétaires extrêmement accueillants. Le seul défaut que nos avons trouvé est la difficulté à en repartir !

Sandra The best gite we have ever stayed in
This was the best gite we have ever stayed in. It was very stylish but also very comfortable. The location was perfect, very peaceful next to the canal even though there were regular boats on the canal and walkers and cyclists using the towpath.
There was lots to do in the area and on a couple of days we didn't use the car preferring to walk or cycle along the canal. We recommend hiring bikes from the cycle shop in St Congard.
Bernard and Louisette gave us a very warm welcome. Definitely recommend.- Cleanliness

ED42 Séjour au Gîte du Canal à St Congard
Très beau gîte, très bien aménagé dans une ambiance cocoon... Tout est impeccable et bien pensé. Contact excellent avec les propriétaires. Idéalement placé, au calme, pour les amoureux de la nature avec un jardin agréablement aménagé, et la proximité du déversoir du canal de l'Oust. Vraiment un séjour "5 étoiles" !

Le gîte de Louisette et Bernard est une pure merveille !
Leur accueil fort sympathique (avec une petite douceur sucrée à notre arrivée), leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et la propreté du gîte tout était irréprochable.
Si vous cherchez le calme alors ne cherchez plus, venez séjourner au gîte du canal.
