Ideal for a successful vacation in Brittany, this gîte is located in a hamlet typical of the region and adjoining the cellar of a house, 20 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel, less than 40 minutes from Saint-Malo, Dinan, Fougères and Rennes. You'll overlook the Marais de Sougéal, part of the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay nature reserve. You'll appreciate the flora and fauna and the many walks. Nearby (7 km), the Forêt de Villecartier is a family leisure base with its pond, miniature port, horseback riding and tree climbing. Furnished and decorated in a contemporary cottage style, the gîte strikes the right balance between rural and modern.
On the first floor, the living room and open-plan kitchen revolve around the wood-burning stove and large fireplace, which can be lit when the season warrants. The living room opens onto a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and lawn area. On the 1st floor: the landing leads to a large double bedroom (bed 160x200) which can accommodate a cot, a triple bedroom (bed 140x200 and 90x200) and a bathroom with toilet. You won't need to bring anything with you, as bathroom linen is provided and beds will be made up on arrival. Bluetooth speakers, board games and books.... will ensure cosy evenings. The gîte includes 2 private parking spaces. To make your stay easier, Anaïs and Nicolas can prepare family-style dishes for you to put in the oven, as well as breakfast baskets made with local produce, subject to booking and payment. Pets are welcome, up to a limit of two per stay.

Anaïs et Nicolas
Nous sommes Anaïs et Nicolas, globe-trotters et bretons d'adoption. Après avoir vécu en Alsace, à Paris, à l'île de La Réunion puis en van aménagé, nous avons eu le coup de foudre pour cette longère, notre belle endormie, que nous avons rénovée nous-mêmes. Architectes d'intérieur, nous entamons avec ce projet une reconversion professionnelle en développant des activités artisanales en parallèle de notre activité touristique. Issue d'une famille de restaurateurs italiens, j'ai grandi dans un environnement où l'hospitalité et la bonne chair allaient de pair. Nicolas a donné corps à ce rêve de chambre d'hôtes, qui me suit depuis l'adolescence, et le complète par son sens de l'échange et des relations humaines.

Vous recevez un accueil chaleureux de Nicolas et Anaïs. Le chalet est très propre, bien équipé et confortable, surtout avec le poêle à bois lors des nuits plus froides.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Nicolas et Anaïs. Gite agréable, au calme, bien équipé. Idéalement situé, non loin du Mont-Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, Dinan, Avranches, ... Les propriétaires du gîte sont accueillants et de très bon conseil. Leur carnet, rempli de bonnes adresses, est très utile pour découvrir la région.

Gîte très confortable, au calme, situé en pleine campagne et proche de la mer et de ses sites pittoresques : Mont st Michel, cancale, Saint Malo...

Gîte impeccable, isolé, au calme, bien équipé. Très bonne literie !
Propriétaires très sympa qui sont de bons conseils et très à l'écoute (normal ce sont des Alsaciens )
Idéalement situé pour les sites que nous avions choisi de visiter (entre 20 mn et 1h de trajet en voiture).Bonne continuation dans vos projets Anaïs et Nicolas ! Sans oublier Nat' et Moka

Les Finistériens Idéalement situé pour découvrir de beaux lieux

We were warmly greeted by Anaïs and Nicolas at our arrival at the gite.
We've enjoyed our stay at Josephs cellar very much.
A very nice gite with everything you'd need. Set in a rural environment in a very small village; according to Nicolas ;)
We felt at home immediately.It was a good starting point for our trips to several beautiful places.
Of course Le Mont Saint Michel and Saint Malo were on the top of our list but overall there was so much to see. Particularly Dinan was a very nice place to visite.Overall we think this was the best stay we've booked and been to in about twenty years or so.
Would recommend it to anyone.
