La Rivée

Welcome to La Rivée, a large self-catering cottage at the gateway to Rennes and the Pays de Fougères, ideal for a stay with family or friends, for an interlude of exchange and sharing in a place close to nature.

Fall under the spell of this atypical place, a former presbytery renovated in a recovery-chic style and with a sustainable ethic.
Located in the heart of the village of Saint-Georges de Chesné, it's a peaceful, restful place. This large 14-person gîte is adjoined by 2 adjoining studios with which you'll share the garden. It's perfect for a family get-together or a family holiday.
Next door, the 150 m2 tithe barn can also be used for events of up to 70 people (additional rental available from the Association).
La Rivée aims to be a place where people can meet, exchange ideas and share experiences. To this end, at certain times of the year, the association that runs the gîte offers events based around the site: courses, training sessions, concerts and discovery activities.
You're between Fougères and Vitré, 37 km from Rennes, 49 km from Mont St-Michel. Beaches 70 km away, St-Malo 90 km. Base de loisirs du Couesnon 13 km away.

- 2 bedrooms (Mésanges and Chardonnerets) each with 1 bed 160x200cm, convertible into 2 beds 80x200cm on request.
- 2 WCs and 1 shower room on the landing.
- 2 small lounges upstairs
2nd floor (accessed via a narrow, steep spiral staircase)
- 1 dormitory (Canopée) with 4 beds 80x200cm , 1 bed 140x190cm and a shower room.
Exterior:
- A shared garden with 2 studios, with garden furniture and barbecue,
- For an optional fee, contact the association les Engrangeurs: 1 reception barn (150 m², unheated) for 70 people.
