In the heart of Saint-Malo's ramparts, Porte-Saint-Louis, a listed historic monument, La Demeure, built in the 18th century by François-Auguste Magon de la Lande, shipowner and privateer to the king, is open for you to stay in its guest room. Its exceptional location will plunge you into the heart of the Cité Corsaire's atmosphere. Just a ten-minute walk from the Palais du Grand Large, you'll appreciate the proximity of all amenities: shops, restaurants, entertainment... The ramparts are just outside the guesthouse, with views of Fort National and Fort du Petit-Bé. Behind the arched doorway of the majestic interior staircase, you enter a perfectly harmonious room with chestnut panelling traditionally laid with old-fashioned forged nails.
On the 1st floor: large 39m² bedroom with a 160 x 200 bed and a sitting area (bench for a single bed). The bathroom, made entirely of marine wood, is directly inspired by the bathrooms found on sailing ships. A shower, washbasin and quality bathroom linen await you. Separate WCs ensure privacy for couples. The refined decor blends memories of faraway lands and the voyages of the Malouins for the Compagnie des Indes, with period furniture and nods to the maritime character of this City of great merchants and explorers. Breakfasts are served in the living room or on the terrace, weather permitting, and are made with fresh local home-grown produce. Courtesy tray with mini-fridge at your disposal.

Top Unterkunft, perfekt gelegen, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber mit hervorragendem Frühstück. Die Führung durch das Haus ist außergewöhnlich gut: eine Geschichte der Stadt vorbildlich rüber gebracht.

Très bon accueil dans cette magnifique et spacieuse chambre d’hôtes dans une maison historique, bien placée et au calme. Par beau temps le petit déjeuner peut être servi sur la terrasse avec une très belle vue sur les remparts. Une adresse vivement recommandée.

Sandrine Très agréable séjour intra-muros
Très agréable séjour intra-muros à Saint-Malo à quelques minutes des restaurants et de la plage, mais au calme d'une cour, dans une ancienne demeure d'armateur du 18e s. Accueil aux petits soins (petit-déjeuner avec produits maison sur la terrasse) et vaste chambre décorée avec goût.

Catherine Gaudin Séjour très agréable
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
La literie est très confortable, la chambre est spacieuse pour 3 adultes c'était parfait.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux. Ce moment partagé sur la terasse avec Madame de La Riviere était vraiment très agréable.
Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil.

Acceuil chaleureux dans un lieu atypique et remplie d'histoire. La chambre est spacieuse et très bien placé pour aller ce balader.
Mention spéciale au petit déjeuner qui étais tout simplement délicieux.Je recommande!
