This independent Holiday cottage, located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a verdant setting, opens its doors to you for a stay dedicated to nature and relaxation. Set in the renovated outbuilding of an old farmhouse on your hosts' property, this little cocoon is both intimate and welcoming, offering authenticity and comfort. You'll enjoy a space that's all your own, with two terraces where you can savor the peace and quiet of the place, facing a breathtaking view of the Countryside. Inside, everything has been designed with your Wellbeing in mind: a cosy living room with wood-burning stove, bedrooms with private shower rooms and a whirlpool bath for your moments of relaxation. As soon as spring arrives, take a dip in the shared swimming pool.
Make the most of your stay to explore two of the region's medieval gems: Vitré and Fougères, both of which have been awarded the City of Art and History label, with their imposing castles, cobbled streets and half-timbered houses.

First floor: - living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with wood-burning stove (pod and filter coffee maker) - bedroom with 160X200 electric bed and en-suite shower room with WC First floor:
- a bedroom with a 180X200 bed that can be converted into two 90X200 single beds and a whirlpool bath - a shower room - an independent WC Outside: - two terraces with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs - a covered unheated swimming pool with a dome accessible from May to September - dimensions: 4.50 m X 11 m and depth from 1.2 m to 1.8 m - a pétanque court (equipment supplied) Parking on the property under an unenclosed covered shelter.

Bienvenue dans notre gite la Cerisais !
Cette dépendance de notre corps de ferme a été rénovée avec soin pour vous offrir un agréable séjour reposant. Vous êtes ici en pleine campagne, au calme., loin de tous les tumultes urbains : une totale déconnexion ! Vous y côtoierez nos poulettes et nos chats qui sont en liberté dans le domaine. A certaines périodes de l'année les vaches de notre voisin pâturent à proximité.
Nous sommes situés aux portes de Bretagne sur les monts de Vilaine, dans le triangle Vitré-Fougères-Laval. La Vilaine passe à 1 km, offrant de jolies balades pédestres. Une base de loisirs avec paddles, canoés et pédalos (base de loisirs de la Haute-Vilaine) vous attend à 5 km. Nous pourrons vous conseiller sur différents sites à découvrir : le pays de Vitré n'en manque pas !

Félicitations pour la rénovation de votre gîte où l’on trouve tout ce qu’il faut (confort, bien être avec la baignoire balnéo….) tout est au top. Merci à eux. An absolute 5 star gite - great quiet location with fantastic facilities and wonderful owners.
The gite is very well appointed with fantastic amenities far above equally positioned gites. It has been finished to an exceptional high standard with facilities that make it a cut above the equivalent gites.
The location is very rural and quiet - great for chilling down and relaxing. We saw several deer in the field opposite the gite which was magical as we could observe them for several minutes after waking up from a restful sleep.
It is a very cosy and comfortable gite with great owners who while not speaking English, made us feel welcome and explained things like the jacuzzi bath and the kitchen appliances via google translate and having made up an instruction booklet in English - that is going above and beyond and being a very nice human being!
You will not be disappointed if you rent this gite - it is lovely - hopefully we will be back if our travels allow as its a great base for visiting Brittany and Normandy as long as you have a car.
