Just 3 km from Bécherel, an ancient medieval fortress listed as a Cité du Livre, this 18th-century barn adjoining the owners' home has been completely renovated to welcome you in a friendly, refined atmosphere conducive to sharing and relaxation. Ideally laid out with spacious rooms, the gîte is also perfectly equipped for stays with family and friends (no parties allowed). Set in a verdant setting in the heart of a wooded property, you'll enjoy two pleasant terraces with garden furniture, dining table and Gllum is cool barbecue.
First floor: large 45 m² kitchen with dining area, large 82 m² living room with sitting area, laundry room with sink and separate toilet with washbasin. First floor: four bedrooms, each with a 160X200 bed that can be converted into two single beds on request, a bedroom with two 90X190 beds and two 90X200 beds, a shower room, a bathroom with shower, bath and WC, and a separate WC. Parking on the property.

Sylvie Spacieux et confortable gîte
Nôtre week-end annuel en famille avec nos amis et tous nos enfants et petits enfants fût très apprécié. Heureux de se retrouver ensemble dans cette belle bâtisse où chacun a pu trouver son espace , prendre le temps. La cuisine est très grande pour un repas de groupe, le salon spacieux. La commune de Bécherel toute proche est à découvrir pour toutes ses boutiques atypiques de livres et la crêperie excellente , conseillée par Nathalie la propriétaire.merci à vous deux pour votre accueil et votre réactivité. T Orr Great family space
This gite is ideal for a large group. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. Nathalie arranged the beds according to our wishes. A number of permutations appears possible. There is ample seating and three dining options, although we settled on the kitchen table and benches as the best option for children. The kitchen is well-equipped. There ought to be a sticker above the plug for the fridge/freezer so no one disconnects it by accident! The kitchen area in particular can be echoey and therefore a bit of a problem when lots of conversations happen at the same time. Otherwise, no problems.
Lots of living room space. Funny to see children playing cards on the floor. The TV is small, but who watches TV on holiday? We were amused to have half a dozen adults in one corner of the room watching the Olympics once the children were in bed, with the sound down partly because some of us didn’t have very good French and the pundits are boring in any language anyway.
A handbasin in the upstairs toilet would have been useful.
The garden was fine for play although a bit bumpy for football, especially for older adults who should not compete with children at sports.
Nathalie made us very welcome and we had a great time in the area. We only had one beach day with parking problems: the roads were not busy.
