Welcome aboard our charming, seaside cottage at the foot of the Île Vierge lighthouse in Plouguerneau, Finistère. An unusual eco-lodge in the heart of a hamlet, in a local’s home, just a 5-minute walk from the islands and lighthouses. For a getaway that moves to the rhythm of the tides!

In the heart of the Lilia Archipelago, Tyrheun will be your home base as you set out to explore the foreshore, the islands, and the lighthouses of Plouguerneau and Les Abers!
Tyrheun is a small fisherman’s cottage that we’ve eco-renovated with a nautical theme: portholes, catamaran netting, bedrooms like ship cabins, nautical charts on the walls...
We used bio-based materials and renewable energy sources: wood wool and hemp insulation, a solar water heater, a wood pellet stove, VOC-free paints, and electricity from Enercoop.
Located in a small, typical, and lively hamlet, you’re a 5-minute walk from the beaches, the grocery store, the oyster bar, the crêperie, the GR 34 hiking trail, the pier for the Île Vierge lighthouse, and kayaking or semi-submarine tours. (Kayaking available year-round)
Île Wrac’h and its lighthouse-exhibition are a 30-minute walk away via the Beach at low tide.
We live here as a family and are delighted to share our home and village with you.
We also run an eco-lodge for travelers, a coworking space in Lilia, and a mobile Beach Sauna.

Ground floor: entryway, wood pellet stove, fully equipped kitchen with 3-burner gas stove, dishwasher, oven, small rattan living area, bathroom with double sinks, heated towel rack, and walk-in shower. Separate toilet.
First floor: Mezzanine with catamaran netting, nautical library, 3 bedrooms (1 double bed and two single beds)
Outdoors: small south-facing garden, enclosed.
Patio terrace, outbuilding with laundry room, barbecue.
Special features: solar water heater, composting, eco-friendly materials, upcycled and nautical-themed decor, the catamaran net mezzanine, the library with comic books and books on the Sea and ecology, the bathtub in the north bedroom, the XXL shower, the crackling fire in the pellet stove after a stormy walk, the storage room for your bikes, Kids’ boots and wetsuits available, fishing nets and shrimp baskets, the baby kit (baby carrier, high chair, changing mat, Umbrella bed), board games, and a warm welcome from the hosts.
