Welcome to this Holiday cottage located in the Parc d'Armorique, more specifically in the listed site of Muriou (Roman camp). Thanks to its ideal location in central Finistère, you'll be able to explore the department very easily during your stay. You can go hiking in the Cranou Forest, 3km away. Or head to the Crozon peninsula to discover its incredible scenery, wild beaches and coves, and hiking trails. Gain altitude at Mont d'Arrée and set off on a hike in this small mountain range (330 m) that will impress you with its views over the surrounding region. Just a few kilometers away, take the expressway to Quimper or Brest. Don't miss a visit to Océanopolis, a scientific culture center dedicated to the oceans that will delight young and old alike. Set sail for the islands of Ouessant and Molène for a day of discovering these islands at the end of the world.
This is an independent house for 2/4 people, close to the owner's house. You'll appreciate the garden and the terrace with its garden furniture for pleasant meals around the barbecue. On the ground floor: a kitchen area, a living room full of charm with its stone walls and exposed beams, a shower room and a toilet. Upstairs: a bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190) and a mezzanine with 2 single beds (90x190). A small covered shelter is at your disposal. We are equipped with an 11KW recharging point for electric vehicles, available free of charge to tenants.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Ein gut ausgestattetes, hübsches Ferienhaus mit Garten und Terrasse mit Blick auf das Tal, von einem Wall umgeben, der von ehemaligen römischen Lager herrührt. Hintern Haus ist eine Wiese, auf der zeitweise Schafe weideten, und wir genossen nach Ausflügen die ländliche Ruhe. Das Haus ist so gemütlich, dass uns ein halber oder ganzer Regentag nichts ausgemacht hat. Im Haus ist ein Holzofen für kühle Abende. Obwohl nicht in Meeresnähe, tat uns das dortige Seeklima sehr gut.
Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten in Le Faou, einem "Petite Ville de Charaktere", in ca. 30 Minuten in Quimper und Brest. Es sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, z.B. Locronan, Fondation Leclerc in Landerneau, oder Camaret-sur-Meer mit seinem Hafen auf diese Weise gut zu erreichen. Die Vermieter waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir erhielten von Ihnen Hinweise auf interessante Aktivitäten, z.B. den großen Pardon in St,-Anne-de-Palud. Als wir fürchteten, dass unser Auto einen Schaden hatte, haben sie uns sofort angeboten, uns zum Einkaufen zu fahren, aber glücklicherweise war das nicht nötig..Freundlicherweise erhielten wir auch ein Exemplar der örtlichen Tageszeitung, die uns über Veranstaltungen und die Region informierte.
Wir sind ungern nach drei Wochen wieder gegangen und überlegen uns, wieder dort Urlaub zu machen.- Cleanliness

Essex Pianist Lovely property in an excellent location
The cottage is in a lovely location, perfect for exploring the area. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and we appreciated being able to charge our electric car overnight. We would definitely recommend this property.
Property is in a handy location for Chateaulin station to take the train to Brest or Quimper. Good restaurants in Le Faou.- Cleanliness
