Our gîte is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac on the heights of Lanildut at the tip of Finistère. Bordered by the Aber Ildut, Europe's #1 seaweed harbor, the village is classified as a "Patrimoine rural" (rural heritage) site.
Here, people take the time to live simply, with friends or family, and enjoy the silence of the countryside. Days are dictated by the choice of walks and the rhythm of the tides (a path behind the garden leads to the menhirs circuit, and the GR34 is just 1.8 km away). It's a place where people come to walk, cycle, surf, eat seafood, read or do nothing... It's also possible to escape to the islands of Ouessant and Molène from the Lanildut pier, or to the Isle of Sein and the Crozon peninsula from the city of Brest, less than 25 km away.
Every detail of the longère has been thought through to preserve its Breton identity: the doorways and granite fireplaces have been renovated, and the objects echo Breton folk art.

A 17th-century stone farmhouse located next to a small thatched holiday cottage and near the owners’ home, offering complete privacy.
Beautifully renovated in 2018, highlighting the original stone features and featuring natural materials, including oak floors and pegged beams.
There are three steps leading down to the holiday cottage. On the ground floor: living room with a wood-burning stove and an open kitchen. A 30-square-meter room with exposed beams, featuring one 180x200 cm bed (separable) and an open-concept bathroom with a walk-in shower, plus a separate toilet. A second bedroom with very high ceilings featuring a 140x200 cm bed and a separate retro-style bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. Beds are made on arrival.
Option for 2 additional beds at an extra charge: upstairs, a mezzanine overlooking the living room with a Cabin bed for 2 adults or 2 kids, featuring a 160x200 mattress and box spring (separable).
Private parking and covered bike shelter, open garden with lounge area and lounge chairs.
A high-power outlet for charging electric vehicles is available in the shared parking lot for the holiday cottages (billed according to usage).
