Our gîte is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac on the heights of Lanildut at the tip of Finistère. Bordered by the Aber Ildut, Europe's #1 seaweed harbor, the village is classified as a "rural heritage" site.
Here, we take the time to live simply, to enjoy the rest, to listen to the silence of the countryside or the waves. Days are dictated by the choice of walks and the rhythm of the tides (a path runs behind the garden and the GR34 is just 1.8 km away). It's a place where you can walk, cycle, surf, fish, browse the markets, read or do nothing... You can also escape to the islands of Ouessant and Molène directly from the Lanildut pier, or to the Isle of Sein and the Crozon peninsula from the city of Brest, less than 25 km away.
Every detail of the thatched cottage has been thought through to give it an extra touch of soul. The furniture is vintage, then renovated, and the materials used, such as wood, make for a very cosy cocoon.
