Le Quily

Françoise's guest house at Le Quily in Plénée Jugon, 30 km from both Dinan and St Brieuc, is a haven of gentleness and humanity.

In a peaceful, comfortable setting full of flowers, the Maison d'hôtes du Quily is a delight to stay in. Françoise is happy to make this place come alive and to share it, and why not play a game of molky or shuffleboard on site? There's a place to relax for every moment of the day: by the kiwis, the path or the well. As the seasons change, so do the colors and fragrances of the flowerbeds. However, over the wheat fields, the distant hillsides bordering the Arguenon River remain the backdrop to this beautiful setting. All around, beautiful towns such as Jugon les Lacs (7.5 km), Lamballe (14 km) and Moncontour (20 km) are well worth a visit. Other highlights include Château de la Hunaudaye, Boquen Abbey and its forest, and the farm of yesteryear at Plédéliac. Walkers will be delighted by the tour of Lac de Jugon or the banks of the Arguenon upstream. With the RN12 and RN176 close by, you'll be able to get away quickly.

In the eastern part of Françoise's pretty longère, awaits you a single-storey, PRM-accessible Family Unit with independent access, comprising 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 140x190 for the first "Les Juments Mignonne et Polka" and 2 single beds 90x190 for the second "Les Hirondelles") sharing the same shower room (with shower, basin and toilet) and a corridor. In the Hirondelles room, the 2 beds can be moved closer together. At the end of the corridor is the breakfast room. Françoise gives pride of place to local and homemade products (fromage blanc and yoghurts, crêpes, eggs in all their forms, etc., depending on the season). Outside, a wooden annex contains a kitchen area for your evening breaks (kettle, microwave, hotplate and fridge), as well as board games and reading material. Private parking on the property. Good to know: if you are 2 but want 1 room each, a supplement of 20 € / night will be applied ON THE SPOT.
