In the historic center of Dinan, amidst half-timbered houses dating back to the Middle Ages, here's a character building with a turret at the end of a courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of the street. Here you'll find a tastefully decorated, fully-renovated apartment for 4 people, within walking distance of the town's cultural and tourist attractions, with easy access to the coast. There's so much to see and do in the town: basilica, towers, ramparts, castles, museum, stores, restaurants, galleries, guided tours, port, ... and on the coast: Lancieux, Dinard, Saint Malo, Cancale, ... In between: the banks of the Rance and its cruise boats for the pleasure of strolling. In short, there's something for everyone, of all ages, to enjoy.
Your apartment on the 1st floor of a character building (no elevator) comprises: living room with kitchenette, bedroom (1 double bed 140x190), bathroom with shower and basin, separate toilet. Mezzanine duplex: one bedroom (2 single beds 90x190). No washing machine. Set back from the street, access via a large gravel courtyard. Secure, closed private parking 10 minutes' walk away.

Logement idéal pour un week-end au coeur de Dinan, propriétaires très sympathiques, réactifs et à l'écoute. La carte parking est un atout donc aucun soucis pour se garer.

nous avons passés une super semaine . le gîte est super bien placé le coeur historique de Dinan est magnifique , proche de pleins de lieux superbes à visiter . je recommande.

SJBB Perfect location, lovely apartment and owners.
A lovely apartment in the centre of Medieval Dinan, but the road wasn't too busy and building set back a little so it still felt private. A 3-minute walk to an excellent boulangerie for breakfast, a butcher even closer, souvenirs, clothes etc within 2-5 minutes from the door. Being so central, I was able to take photos of Dinan's most popular locations before the crowds arrived. We even watched the parade marking the 80th anniversary of Dinan's liberation from the lounge! (The window is actually bigger than I had realised from the description.)
There is space outside the building for unloading and loading the car, with parking a very few minutes' walk away.
The lounge diner area is small, but feels more spacious because the ceiling is double height (and this allows a really big window to enjoy the view). The mezzanine upstairs gave our children plenty of personal space, with their own sofa. There was a filter coffee machine provided but we used our travel cafetiere because we prefer that to filter coffee. Everything in the kitchen worked well (the oven looked brand new). (Only tiny niggles were that with the living area being small, thre wasn't sofa/armchair space for 2 adults & 2 teens, and a tall person can bump their head at one end of the dining table, but it wasn't a problem.)
The apartment was perfect for us, but the owners were a bonus - a lovely and very helpful couple. Communication was excellent, the owner met us at the apartment and showed us around, and it really felt that he wanted us to have the best possible time in Dinan. We stayed for 7 nights.
I recommend this apartment for families with up to 2 children (although very young children might need a stairgate, our teens were happy), who want to be within walking distance of facilities and the best of Dinan, while also quite quiet and private (main noise being occasional church bells). It is also perfectly placed to reach a lot of Northern and Central Brittany.

Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires. Très beau gîte avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Bien placé aussi bien pour visiter Dinan et pour des ballades le long de la Rance.
