La Closerie de Gigny "Maison Marguerite"

Nestled in the heart of the Yonne region, in the peaceful village of Gigny, Maison Marguerite is part of the Closerie de Gigny, a collection of charming homes dedicated to the art of living and serenity. Maison Marguerite, awarded a 4-star rating in 2024, is ideally situated for your Burgundy getaway, whether you’re traveling with friends or family, to explore the rich heritage of the surrounding area, in the heart of unspoiled Burgundy.

Completely renovated in 2023, this traditional Burgundian house elegantly combines the charm of the past with contemporary comfort. Its tasteful decor, warm, spacious rooms, and natural light make it the perfect place to recharge your batteries in a relaxed setting.

Ground Floor: 2 living rooms, a large fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining room where you can enjoy meals around the large table. Guest restroom.

First floor: three double bedrooms (160x200) with their own bathrooms and toilets.
Second floor, with a loft-style design: one bedroom with a double bed (140x190) and a second double bedroom (160x200). A shared shower room and toilet. Beds are made on arrival.

Baby equipment: 2 Umbrella beds with mattresses, 2 high chairs, and an additional baby bathtub can be provided upon request.

You’ll have access to a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture and a Weber charcoal grill. Pets are allowed upon request to the owner, for an additional fee of €30 per stay.

To relax and enjoy quality time with family or friends, a pétanque court is available, as well as an outbuilding adjacent to the house with a 4-person hot tub (reservation required at least 48 hours before arrival and payable on site: €15 per day / €100 per week, payable upon arrival).


### Private Hot Tub – Hygiene and Maintenance

To ensure you have a relaxing experience under the best conditions, our hot tub undergoes thorough maintenance after each stay.

The water is completely drained and refilled between guests, then treated and disinfected before your arrival. The filtration system is also checked to ensure clean, safe, and high-quality water. The entire hot tub is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each new rental.

To cover the costs associated with completely changing the water, treatment products, disinfection, maintenance, and energy consumption, a hot tub fee is charged. This fee allows us to maintain impeccable hygiene and quality standards for each of our guests.

End-of-stay cleaning fee (additional charge): 180€.

On weekends, we offer you the option to check in starting at 2:00 PM on Friday and check out late on Sunday.

We know that a stay at La Closerie is always too short!

Whenever possible for weekend stays only, we offer you the possibility of arriving from 2pm on Friday and leaving late on Sunday.
