La Loge du Huchier

Welcome to Burgundy La loge du Huchier is a self-contained Holiday cottage with enclosed courtyard, located about two hours south of Paris, in one of the buildings of a 19th-century farmhouse facing the Renaissance château of the small village of Nuits. The village and our corner of Burgundy Nuits-sur-Armançon, a village of less than 400 souls, has a bakery, a post office agency and a SNCF train station, and is close to Ravières and Ancy-le-Franc, two towns with a full range of shops and services. Privileged by its location just a stone's throw from the Champagne region, ideally situated on the banks of the Armançon river for Fishing, and at the center of a 100km-long cycle route along the Burgundy canal. This section of the cycle route is extremely rich in tourist attractions, and is bordered by the 905 departmental road and the Paris-Lyon SNCF line. Served by 4 stations and a dozen TER trains (trains + bikes) running in both directions every day, you can set off by bike or by train to do the visits and Hiking tours you've chosen, and return without worrying about having to rely on your strength or battery. Not far from Nuits, you can play golf (23km), visit some vineyards and taste the red and rosé wines of Burgundy or the famous white wine of Chablis.

First floor: The living room, with a view of the château, has an insert fireplace, 2 "crapaud" armchairs and 2 benches (real 80cm beds). Fitted kitchen with dining table. Upstairs: bathroom with bath, separate toilet and dressing room. The air-conditioned bedroom has 2 twin beds (90cm) and a spare sofa-bed. Baby equipment available on request. A relaxation area, winter garden: in a former workshop adjoining the accommodation, you'll find a ping-pong table, garden furniture with heated parasol and electric barbecue. Enclosed garage and access to the garden with arbour, garden table and chairs, sun loungers/transats and charcoal barbecue.

Electricity and heating: included in a fixed rate of 8 kW/day, above this rate kW €0.20.
Wood heating: 1/8th of a stere free and €5.5 for each additional 1/8th.
Maximum 1 pet.
2-person capacity may be exceeded for a supplement of €10/day (2 beds of 80).
Lodging not suitable for business customers.

Special care for young Kids: The upstairs staircases are not protected by barriers.
