Beautiful contemporary house nestled in the peace and quiet of a vast 1 ha private natural property in unspoilt countryside (partly protected as a "Zone Natura 2000" & ZNIEFF for the quality of its rich fauna & flora ecosystem), in a peaceful little rural residential hamlet nestled between the two picturesque medieval towns, of Buxy (8 km away) & Saint-Gengoux-le-National, a major Cluniac site with the "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté" label (11 km away), both with numerous amenities including supermarkets. Bucolic countryside & natural surroundings, nestled on the edge of a vast plateau of meadows, on the edge of the immense state forest of La Ferté (literally a "green lung"), a stone's throw from the first vineyard slopes of the Côtes Chalonnaises, nestled in the verdant Grosne valley, winding at the foot of the wooded foothills of the nearby South Burgundy Massif, a soothing, undulating landscape combining vineyards, bocage, rivers, ponds & beautiful, wild forests. Ultra-privileged location at the crossroads of the Haut Mâconnais & Côtes Chalonnaises vineyards, adjacent to the Romanesque churches circuit, the "Route des Grands Vins" (Côtes Chalonnaises & Couchois) & the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne" (Mâconnais-Beaujolais), 1 km from a marked "balade verte" trail (a vast network of similar paths criss-crossing the region, to be explored on foot or mountain bike), 2 km from the GR76 alongside the legendary "Chemin des Moines", 5 km from the Voie Verte ("Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du sud"), 5 km from a referenced 26 km "boucle vélo coup de cœur" (2 other similar itineraries of 24 & 27 km, accessible within a 15 km radius) and 10 km from the renowned GTM mountain bike trail (Grand Tour du Massif Bourgogne) connected to a vast network of signposted mountain bike trails criss-crossing the massif. A prime location, between Grosne & Saône, on the borders of the southern Chalonnais region, at the crossroads of Tournugeois-Clunisois (labelled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Mâconnais & Bresse Bourguignonne, all rich in exceptional heritage and splendid landscapes. Ideal for easy access to the heart of southern Burgundy: 13 km from Sennecey-le-Grand, 17 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "Ville d'Art et d'Histoire"), 19 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 22 km from Tournus (world-renowned abbey site), 26 km from the medieval village of Mont Saint-Vincent (& its exceptional panoramic viewpoint), 32 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 35 km from Le Creusot TGV station, 45 km from Louhans, 51 km from the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson (classified as a "Grand Site de France") & 55 km from Mâcon (Mâcon TGV station 52 km away). A very comfortable "pied à terre" for a rejuvenating "mise au vert", for families, lovers and horse lovers alike!
