Comfortable country "mini loft" just a stone's throw from nature, bordering the vineyards of the Pays Couchois at the gateway to the Morvan Nature Park! Delightful authentic 19th-century farm outbuilding - carefully converted into an ultra-cozy holiday home - nestled in a peaceful rural hamlet on a beautiful, well-kept 5500m² property, 14 km from the charming medieval town of Couches (home to the sumptuous 13th-century château "said" to have belonged to Queen Marguerite of Burgundy) & 19 km from Autun, a "City of Art & History" (2000 years of human presence and literally exceptional heritage / all amenities on site & a wealth of sports & leisure facilities, including a Golf course). Absolute peace and quiet in the heart of the Autun countryside, nestled in the Antully plateau on the southern slopes of the Morvan massif (protected ZNIEFF & Natura 2000 area for its rich ecosystems), a soothing, unspoilt setting of gentle mountains dotted with bucolic lakes & ponds, combining nature, agriculture & viticulture, between hedged meadows, vineyards and deep, wild forests (including the nearby Planoise state forest, one of the largest in France). On the routes of numerous "natural" footpaths, in close proximity to various signposted "green walks" (criss-crossing the area, on foot or mountain bike), the Romanesque churches circuit and the "Route des Grands Vins" (which extends to the illustrious "Route des Grands Crus" through the mythical wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault...), 4 km from the GR137 (connected to the GR31, GR7 & GR76 as well as to the superb GRP "Au Fil des Vignobles et Vallées" & "Grand Tour du Morvan"), 14 km from the mythical mountain bike route of the GTMC (Grande Traversée du Massif Central), 18 km from the Voie verte "du Morvan aux Vignobles" linked to the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), 19 km of the Voie Verte du Canal du Centre (connected to the EuroVélo6 cycle route and the "Tour de Bourgogne à vélo") & 23 km of the Voie Verte "La Voie des Vignes" (a 36 km route through the vineyards of Burgundy's most eminent grands crus). In the heart of the Autunois, a sumptuous, unspoilt region steeped in history, tradition, legend & mystery, with an exceptional heritage (ancient, medieval, industrial...) & magnificent landscapes, at the crossroads of the Chalonnais, Pays Beaunois & Côte d'Or regions and the world-renowned vineyards of Côtes de Beaune, Hautes Côtes de Beaune & Côtes Chalonnaises. 11 km from Le Creusot (& its renowned Combes amusement park), 11 km from the "seven menhirs of Epoigny" (one of Burgundy's most important megalithic sites), 18 km from Le Creusot TGV station, 20 km from Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune (river Marina linked to the famous Canal du Centre, a navigable route to be discovered on a boat trip), 23 km from the medieval town of Nolay, 27 km from the spa town of Santenay, 30 km from the departure station of the "Vélorail du Morvan" (22 km of Unusual rides in the heart of nature), 31 km from Chagny (famous for its Sunday morning gourmet market), 41 km from the famous Paldenshangpa Buddhist temple, 42 km from the famous Gallo-Roman archaeological site of Bibracte, designated a "Grand Site de France", 43 km from Beaune, 44 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (designated a "City of Art & History") and 55 km from Château-Chinon. A romantic "cocoon", full of charm, for a relaxing getaway for two!

Description 2026, subject to modifications for 2027: Please refer to the description sheet validated at the time of booking.

Yannick opens the doors to a charming former farm outbuilding built in 1829, which he has lovingly restored to a very high standard. It was once linked to the neighboring authentic traditional farmhouse dating from 1800, which he also occupies, also perfectly restored, nestled in the calm of the Countryside in a peaceful little rural hamlet. Total tranquility nestled in a splendidly landscaped setting of total nature and greenery, on the edge of woods and pastures, a stone's throw from a vast national forest and bucolic ponds teeming with fish (wildlife can be observed on site). Very comfortable Holiday cottage, literally a "mini country loft", with atypical interior architecture. A warm country feel with contemporary accents, sublimated by a sculptural metal design staircase and a meticulous heritage restoration (conservation of the stone walls & lintels and the imposing period fireplace mantel topping the original bread oven that once occupied the premises, whose now-glazed "door" remains, a delightful "wink" to the building's singular history). Enormous character. A cosy, enveloping and totally exotic atmosphere. A soothing, romantic refuge, soft and cosy, with an incredible charm, where past and present converse with elegance. The large, shaded terrace opens onto a pleasant private garden featuring a cherry and plum tree (available for Picking during your stay), providing welcome natural shade in summer. Access to the vast 5500m² property, perfectly landscaped & flowered, bordered by delightful historic dry-stone walls, offering a beautiful unobstructed view of the surrounding Countryside. Composition: Detached house (total independence) adjoining the owner's house (housing a second Holiday cottage). Wifi (fiber). Heat pump heating. Laundry room with washing machine with direct access from outside (at the foot of the Holiday cottage). Duplex Holiday cottage. Ground floor (2 steps down to access): living room-kitchen. 1st floor: mezzanine bedroom (bed 2 p. 160x200cm) housing an "open" bathroom that can be isolated behind a curtain (island bath/Wc). Private terrace + garden + parking. Shared 5500m² grounds (courtyard and garden). Small shops 6 km. Amenities and supermarkets 11 km.
