Enjoy a beautiful heated swimming pool (6x3m), magnificent panoramic views & breathtaking sunsets! Family room on a fully private floor in a charming, lovingly restored 19th-century farmhouse, nestled on the hillside of a "panoramic belvedere", on the edge of meadows just a stone's throw from the center of the picturesque village of Beaubery, on a verdant 6000m² property nestled 12 km from Charolles, the "Venice of Charolais", famous city of Charles the Bold (all amenities on site, including supermarket). In the heart of the Charolais Countryside, a sublime, unspoilt setting of gentle mountains, a mix of nature and agriculture (rich in various ZNIEFF protected areas), bordering the iconic Butte de Suin not far from Mont Saint-Cyr (highest point in southern Burgundy at 771m), the Haut-Clunysois (the "Little Switzerland of the Mâconnais", protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its remarkable ecosystems), the "verts vallons" (green valleys) of southern Burgundy, as well as the massif of northern Beaujolais, extending the sumptuous landscape jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson, awarded the "Grand Site de France" label (44 km away). Ideally situated on the route of numerous signposted "balades vertes" (green walks) winding through the countryside (there is a very rich network of similar hiking trails to discover in the area, on foot or mountain bike), not far from the Romanesque church circuit, 6 km from the GR7, 10 km from the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire by bike), 22 km from the Voie Verte of the famous Canal du Centre (linked to the EuroVélo6 cycle route and the "Tour de Bourgogne à vélo"), 25 km of the Voie Verte "Véloire" along the banks of the Loire (Europe's last wild river, protected as a "Natura 2000 Zone"), 30 km of the Voie Verte "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud" (& its remarkable "Tunnel du Bois Clair", France's longest former railway tunnel open to a Voie Verte at 1.6 km), about 30 km from the Côtes Mâconnaises ("Routes des Vins de Bourgogne") & about 40 km from the first vineyards of the Beaujolais (first vineyard in the world to be recognized as a "UNESCO World Geopark" / various wine routes to discover). At the crossroads of Charolais-Brionnais - cradle of the world-renowned AOC cattle breed - & Clunisois-Tournugeois (both with the "Pays d'Art & d'Histoire" label), Mâconnais & Beaujolais, 4 km from the RCEA, 17 km from La Clayette, 25 km from Paray-le-Monial (city of the "sacred heart"), 31 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 37 km from Charlieu, 41 km from Digoin (river Marina connected to the Canal du Centre & "quiet canal" linking Digoin to Roanne), 41 km from Marcigny, 46 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 45 km away), 50 km from Le Creusot TGV station & 50 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais). An ideal, intimate "green setting" for a break on the road, or as part of an extended stay, with poolside sunbathing as a bonus! For lovers and families alike!

Catherine & Renzo welcome you to a charming, carefully restored traditional late 19th-century farmhouse, nestled on a hillside promontory like a "panoramic belvedere", on a west-facing hillside offering exceptional unobstructed views of the Charolais and sublime sunsets. Pleasant surroundings, nestled at the edge of the meadows on the first heights of the village (home to their ponies as well as the famous Charolais cows in season), a stone's throw from the heart of the picturesque village of Beaubéry, "Haut lieu de la résistance" during the Second World War, with its famous 15-hectare Fishing pond. In the heart of the unspoilt Haut Charolais Countryside (protected ZNIEFF & "Zone Natura 2000" for its remarkable wealth of flora & fauna), nestled in a peaceful valley of bocage meadows encircled by beautiful wild forests, a gentle green mountain combining nature & agriculture. Spacious, comfortable family room. Warm "shabby chic" country style. Lots of charm. Cosy atmosphere. Pleasant panoramic terrace naturally shaded under a tree (complemented by a sheltered terrace) opening onto a soothing 6000m² enclosed property, carefully planted with flowers and trees, an intimate green setting coiled away from view, including a beautiful heated swimming pool (with shower & summer kitchen), numerous rest & relaxation areas (exposed & shaded), a swing & a henhouse.
Composition: Bedroom on 1st floor (fully private "mezzanine" / independent access). Wifi (fiber). Electric heating.
