Sublime wine-growing setting in the sumptuous Vallée des Vaux, "la petite Suisse chalonnaise"! Charming authentic country house dating from the late 19th century, meticulously restored, nestled in the very heart of the Côte Chalonnaise vineyards in a peaceful, typical & protected village, very close to Mercurey (6 km) and Givry (8 km), delightful wine-growing & shopping towns (many amenities on site, including supermarkets). Splendid, unspoiled setting in gentle rolling Countryside, combining viticulture & nature, between vineyard slopes, vast wild forests & meadows, in a protected ZNIEFF & Natura 2000 area (for its very rich ecosystems), bordering the famous "Val d'Or" & its renowned "Mercurey" (leader of the Côte Chalonnaise crus, one of France's oldest AOCs). Location ultra-privileged on the routes of several signposted footpaths (complemented by various "balades vertes" criss-crossing the territory, to be explored on foot or mountain bike / first accessible only 2 km away), the Romanesque churches circuit & the "Route des Grands Vins" (which extends the illustrious "Route des Grands Crus" through the mythical wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault...) and the GR7 & GR76 (connected to the renowned GRP "Au Fil des Vignes et des Vallées" & the "Grands Crus"), 9 km from the Voie Verte of the "Grande Boucle de Bourgogne du Sud", 12 km from the Voie Verte of the Canal du Centre (linked to the EuroVélo6 and the "Tour de Saône-et-Loire à vélo"), 13 km from the "Cycloroute71" (Tour de Saône-et-Loire à vélo), 17 km from the "Voie des Étangs" cycle route, 18 km from the "La Voie des Vignes" cycle route (a 36 km route through the vineyards of Burgundy's Grand Crus, some of the world's finest), 18 km from the "Voie Verte du Morvan aux Vignobles" & 20 km from the "Voie Bleue" (along the Saône) connected to the "Voie Verte Bressane". At the crossroads of the Couchois, and the world-famous vineyards of Côtes de Beaune & Hautes Côtes de Beaune, at the crossroads of Côte d'Or, Pays Beaunois, Bresse Bourguignonne & Autunois-Morvan. Ideal for exploring: 10 km from Clinique Val Dracy, 15 km from Chalon-sur-Saône (labeled "City of Art and History"), 16 km from Chagny, famous for its Sunday morning gourmet Market, 17 km from the spa & wine town of Santenay (Casino on site), 26 km from Saint-Gengoux-le-National ("site clunisien", medieval city labeled "Cités de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté"), 27 km from the medieval town of Nolay (on-site lake), 28 km from Le Creusot (famous Combes amusement park / Le Creusot TGV station 23 km away), 32 km from the famous fortified town of Beaune ("capital of Burgundy wines"), 42 km from Tournus, 43 km from Autun (labeled a "City of Art and History", with a priceless heritage spanning over 2000 years of human presence) & 51 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny. A soothing resort for a relaxing "mise au vert" with family or loved ones, immersed in a "postcard" setting!

Odile & Emmanuel open the doors to a charming, carefully restored late 19th-century farmhouse steeped in "local history" (a former village grocery store that branded its era, with its historic tommette floor), nestled in a quiet lane overlooking the vineyards, a stone's throw from nature, in a peaceful, picturesque, perfectly preserved Côte Chalonnaise wine-growing village nestled in a "belvedere & panoramic balcony" on the hillside of a west-facing slope (offering splendid views over the Vallée des Vaux & its sublime wine-growing landscapes), beneath the wooded ridges of a small forest home to a renowned rock-climbing site. Total tranquility in gentle rolling Vineyard Countryside, in an area protected by ZNIEFF & Zone Natura 2000 (for its wealth of flora & fauna), in the heart of a soothing, unspoilt "picture-postcard" setting combining bucolic vineyard slopes, rivers, fields & gentle meadows and vast, wild forests (to be explored on relaxing walks or mountain bike rides).
