Between town & country, close to all amenities! Beautiful traditional "bourg" house steeped in history dating back to the 18th century - completely restored & carefully revisited in a contemporary spirit - nestled in the heart of a peaceful, picturesque little village in the Mâcon wine-growing countryside, 7 km from downtown Mâcon (all amenities on site). A delightful hilly setting combining vineyards (first vines just around the corner), meadows & vast wild forests, nestled at the very southern tip of the Massif sud Bourgogne on the borders of the Haut Beaujolais region, bordering the bucolic vineyards of the renowned "Val Lamartinien" nearby (named after the famous native French poet and writer). Gentle, perfectly preserved countryside (2 ZNIEFF protected natural areas in the commune, for their wealth of flora & fauna), bordering a vast area classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for its rich ecosystem. Ideally located close to the Romanesque church circuit, on the "Route des Vins de Bourgogne" (Mâconnais-Beaujolais), several signposted footpaths (vast network of signposted "balade verte" hiking trails, winding between vineyards & nature, to discover in the surrounding area) & a 17 km "boucle vélo coup de cœur" referenced, 6.5 km from the "voie verte", 7 km from the "voie bleue" running alongside the Saône (linked to the EuroVélo17 cycle route), 8 km from the renowned GTM mountain bike route (Grand Tour du Massif Sud-Bourgogne) & 10 km from a signposted mountain bike route (connected to a vast network criss-crossing the sublime neighbouring massif of northern Beaujolais). Ultra-privileged location at the crossroads of the Rhône & Ain rivers, at the crossroads of the Mâconnais, Beaujolais (numerous vineyards to explore), Clunisois-Tournugeois (certified "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire"), Bresse Bourguignonne and Bresse de l'Ain, splendidly preserved territories with grandiose landscapes, steeped in history, culture and renowned gastronomy. Ideal location for easy access to the whole of southern Burgundy (A6 at 6.5 km & RCEA connection 8 km): 9 km from the Mâcon Loché TGV station, 11 km from the landscape jewel of the Solutré & Vergisson rocks labelled "Grand Site de France", 21 km from the renowned Touroparc Zoo animal park, 19 km from the illustrious abbey town of Cluny, 26 km from the medieval village of Brancion, 31 km from Tournus, 36 km from the medieval town of Romenay, 40 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais) & 46 km from Bourg-en-Bresse. A delightful cocoon for a tourist stopover, or a business trip, immersed in the heart of the village!
